A further module studied was an Introduction to Information Systems. This covered the principles and practice of data processing and provided an understanding of the nature of computer based systems within organisations. To cement the understanding of these systems we thoroughly studied System Analysis and then used those skills to analyse a number of businesses or information systems within a business.
Thus , by dissecting and evaluating each system and suggesting possible improvements we were able to develop good problem solving skills and fully appreciate the intricate details of the systems.
